NASA’s Artemis 1 rocket launch hinges on fueling check on Sept. 21

NASA is simply days away from a key fueling check of its new megarocket that will make or break the house company’s possibilities of launching its Artemis 1 mission to the moon subsequent week.

The fueling check, which NASA will try on Wednesday (Sept. 21), will check repairs of two hydrogen leaks on the rocket, known as the House Launch System, in addition to a brand new, slower approach to gasoline up the 32-story booster at Pad 389A of the Kennedy House Middle in Florida. If all goes effectively, NASA make its third try and launch the Artemis 1 SLS rocket to the moon on Sept. 27 after two false begins in current weeks.
